Hi @108,

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Nest doorbell has stopped ringing inside.

To better understand the situation, I'd also like to ask a couple of questions:

  • When did the chime stop working? Did it happen suddenly, or has it been getting progressively quieter?
  • Have you made any recent changes to your Nest doorbell settings in the Google Home app or to your Wi-Fi network?
  • Do you see any lights blinking on the Nest doorbell itself? These can sometimes indicate specific error codes.
  • Can you hear a chime at the doorbell itself when you press the button? This would confirm the button is working, and the issue might be isolated to the indoor chime.
  • What type of indoor chime do you have? Is it a mechanical or electronic chime?

Additional Information for Chime Type:

  • Electronic Chime: If you have an electronic chime, try toggling the "Electronic chime" option on and off in the app settings. You might also need to adjust the "Chime duration" setting.
  • Mechanical Chime: If you have a mechanical chime, make sure "Electronic chime" is off in the app settings.

Keep me posted.

Best Regards,

Melany
