Thanks for the response. Yes it was Netflix off our Google Chrome. We did fix it. At first I rebooted the Chrome Cast dealio stuck into our HDMI slot behind the TV and it kept giving us a unable to connect to our router. I thought I really screwed things up then but it seemed that it ( Chrome Cast) was trying to connect to the wrong router, the one we had a few months ago. We have AT&T DSL ( we live in fly over country in extreme rural Mo)  every couple of years the routers need replaced. We  tried to enter in the name and password that was on the sticker on this newer router still to no avail. We then called AT&T Customer Service and it seems the sticker with name and password on the router was wrong... wtf?  The Rep gave us the correct name and password and presto everything worked perfectly. What still confuses me is how the Chrome Cast  had been working over these last many weeks just fine  but only recently stared getting worse and worse till it became unwatchable I'm talking with in a  2 week period. It is a head scratcher to me as I am sure it will be to you and all who read this but in the end all is well.

Hey there MTGORDON,

This error message can be a bit vague, so I'd be happy to help you out! Now, does this error occur when casting Netflix from Google Chrome on a Windows or Mac operating system? If it is a Windows device, go to Sound Settings, then Playback devices, and changing the default device until you find one that works with casting from Chrome. It may also help to try casting from Google Canary instead.

I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!

Best regards,
Jeran

Hey there MTGORDON,

Oh wow, that is a strange occurrence! To be honest, I'm not sure how the Chromecast was working on your router if the credentials were wrong on the router... Regardless, I'm glad to hear you were able to resolve this issue. In that case, do you have any more questions that I can address?

Thank you,
Jeran
