Can I force search to always produce a list of results?

When I run a search for something from the main home screen, the system sometimes provides a list of search results (presumably when its not sure exactly what I'm looking for) and sometimes jumps strait to a single result (presumably when it thinks it knows what i'm looking for).

I don't like the later behaviour. I'd prefer it if I always got a list of search results. Is there a way to force the system to always provide a list of results?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Do you have a Chromecast device that you need help with? Or is this about search results using Google Chrome (browser)?

Thanks for the details. Kindly go to Settings > Accounts and Sign In > Select the Google TV Account > Google Assistant > Searchable apps > And select all the apps that you want search results for. Let me know how it goes.
