So, i have a chromecast first generation and when i turn it on it shows a Exclamation Mark and a support link, when i follow the steps and unplug my device for 10 minutes and then after turn it back on, It either just has no signal or shows the startup issues screen again.

You may see this message on your TV screen after the Chromecast device receives an update or undergoes a reboot. This indicates that the Chromecast is in recovery mode. Also, this is likely caused by rebooting Chromecast multiple times without allowing it to go through its full reboot cycle.
