Chromecast with Google TV stuck on G logo

Factory reset didn't work. Nothing works to fix it. Seen the same problem on countless forums recently but apparently no solution. Is something being done to find a fix for all these devices that have suffered this complete loss of service?

Bump because I am suffering the same issue. Haven't heard anything from Google yet.

I took it to the shop I bought it, and they have sent it back to google to get it repaired or replaced. Google confirmed they will replace it. I was lucky because it broke one week within the one year guarantee, though since they definitely caused it to be bricked I would hope they would have replaced it anyway.

That's great I got mine as a gift so I had to mail mine in after speaking with Google. Got the replacement quickly and all is working fine for now. Just hope it doesn't happen again.
