Hi there,
I have noticed that sometimes when I'm watching a series in Netflix all the rest of the episodes are marked as watched the next time I access it.
The Chromecast is turned off so it should not keep playing in the background.
Has anybody else experienced this? Is there any way to fix it?

A few questions: when did this start? What type of Chromecast with Google TV do you have, is it the 4K or HD model? Is this only happening with the Netflix app or across all apps?

Hi Jennifer,
I have a 4K Chromecast with G TV, this started I think about 2 months ago, it does not happen all the time but it is quite often.
I have not noticed it in other apps, it looks like only Netflix is affected.
Let me try your suggestions and I'll come back to you if that does not fix the issue.

Hi there, I'm still having the issue after reinstalling Netflix. I have not yet tried the factory reset as it will be a pain to add all the info again. I will give it a go this weekend.

We really want to get your device back on track. Resetting your Chromecast with Google TV to default settings is the next best step. Give it a try!
