Chromecast won't connect to Wi Fi when using other TV

I have been using my chromecast on a 4K TV and 4K PC monitor without problems...

A few days ago, I tried to use it on an older full HD television and it wouldn't let me set it up, saying "Cannot connect to the network". I tried setting it up again on my 4K monitor and everything worked fine. Next, I reconnected it to the older TV and it worked. The problem arises when I try to watch something like YouTube, for example. It disconnects from the Wi-Fi and doesn't allow me to reconnect. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Hi Alvarocker,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. If that old TV is in the same household and within the same WiFi’s reach, then it shouldn’t affect the connection of the Chromecast device to the network. It may just be a coincidence that it happens as you connect the Chromecast device to that TV, but chances are it could be the WiFi coverage or an interference on that TV’s location/position. To isolate it, reposition the old TV at a more stable WiFi location. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Kimy
