Hi,
when we use the cast button in the chrome browser to play the audio from youtube (or any other streaming service) to our Google Nest speakers, the sound is crackle/stuttering after starting Outlook/Word/Excel and (any) other Office software.
It did cost me a week to found out where the crackle sound cames from, but i'm for sure now it has something to do when using Microsoft Office applications.
What i already tried:
Installed a new fresh Windows 11
Upgraded Office 2019 to 2021
Did a reset on the Speakers and added them again to the home app
Did some changes in our wifi (like igmp snooping on/off, etc)
Tried to use Chrome Beta as well the Develop version, but didnt help also..
So, the problem:
When we not using microsoft office apps (like outlook, word, or any other) the stream works perfect, but after starting outlook, word or any other Office application, the sound started to popple/crackle/stuttering after 2/3 seconds and keeps this doing till we close outlook, then after some seconds the sound is became normal with a high pitch rate to "synchronized" again and the problems went away..
I hope someone has a fix!
Thanks a lot!
Barry
