Google TV Remote Power Button

I have a Google Chromecast with Google TV.  In the settings menu, I have set the Power Button to 'Chromecast Only'
Settings->Remote and Accessories->Set Up Remote Buttons->Power Button ->Chromecast ONLY.
But when I press the POWER button on the Google TV Remote, my TV and Audio Amp also are turned ON.

Interestingly, when I press the Google TV Remote POWER button again, only the Chromecast device turns OFF, Both my TV and amp are left ON.

My TV is synched to turn ON/OFF my amp when the TV is turned ON/OFF.  This is working correctly when I power the TV ON and OFF directly from the TV power switch.

This is a bit annoying because I actually use my Google TV Remote as a Google Voice Assistant, in a different room on a different floor.  This means if I bump the Power button on the Google TV remote when I pick it up, my TV turns ON and I may be days before I realize it.

Hi carlschnurr,

Thanks for reaching out and for the delayed response. If the power button is set up for Chromecast only, it should only turn on and off the Chromecast but not the TV or amplifier. You may try to reboot your Chromecast and try again. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset. Here's a guide: How to factory reset your Chromecast.
