HDR not working on wanbo projector

I have a WANBO t6 MAX projector made by xiomi.  Using Roku and other android boxes, the HDR works perfectly,  Purchased a new Chromcast with Google TV android 12(hdmi usb C)  and only SDR shows. Contacted wanbo and they said the HDMI port is HDR 10+ at 1080p or 4k 30hz.  Many other people with projectors are complaining the same issue with google since android 12. What is the fix, as without HDR its worthless to have this box

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Is this a Chromecast with Google TV 4K or HD? Have you tried to configure via Settings > Display and Sound > Resolution, or Settings > Display and Sound > Dynamic range and Color format? What steps have you taken?

Try it on a different HDMI port. If possible, try it on another display like a TV. Let us know how it goes.
