Just got a new chromecast!

Hey all,

When I boot up my Chromecast (white model with android TV), it boots into the screen that directs you to g.co/cast/power because it thinks it's plugged into the TV instead of the wall. Problem is, I'm using the power brick and wire it came with.

No matter what I do it's stuck in that low power screen, what do I do?

That sounds like there is a problem with the power-block or cable that came with the device.I

It's a standard USB-C block and cable.  If you happen to have another, try it out with them to see if that solves the problem.

Otherwise, take the device back to where you bought it for a return/exchange.

Izz3h, have you tried the suggested steps shared by our Product Expert? If yes, how was it? If you're still having trouble, please plug in the Chromecast on a different HDMI port on your TV and if one is available, plug it into a different TV screen and power outlet.
