Hi, I recently purchased another chromecast as I thought my old one had been misplaced when I moved recently. One day the screen on my TV went pink and a little fuzzy. I thought it was my whole television that was broken, until I noticed the screen was fine when using free to air. Luckily! I had actually found my old one the day before! So I installed the older one again and it was working fine, but then now it's doing the same? I have done factory resets and reboots. Nothing will fix it..please help. My TV is Hisense. My son's Nintendo switch is working fine in the HDMI ports I will add as well. I previously posted this in October, but, life! Lol

Hi Jennifer V, I have tried this and it has not resolved. I plugged it into another television and it worked. I do not believe it is a compatibility issue. It was working fine for months in the current TV. I have also been trouble shooting with my TV provider. The HDMI ports are working fine.

Hey there,
Thanks for getting back to us. If it did work when plugged into a different TV screen, you may try to ask your TV manufacturer and check the software version of your TV. This is to ensure that it's compatible with your Chromecast.
Regards,
Jennifer

Hello lilchelsp,
It's me again. How's it going? Do you still have questions and concerns?

Hi Jennifer, no, I'm continually getting the run around now. I already advise I had spoken to the manufacturer about compatibility. Plus, it was working for over a year. So, it was no help at all

Hi lilchelsp,
We hear you and we understand why you feel that way. Since this works on another TV, we'd suggest sending feedback about this using the Google Home app. Here's how. Every bit of feedback helps a ton!
Let us know if you still have questions and concerns otherwise, I'll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Best,
Jennifer
