Stolen Chromecast

Hello everyone. I recently had a burglary and my Chromecast was stolen. Since it was connected to my Google Home, is there a way I can track it or completely disable it so that it can’t be used?

No, I"m sorry, there is no way to locate or disable a Chromecast.

When the thief plugs it in it will not be able to find your network and go into Setup mode automatically.

I would suggest that you immediately change your Google Account Password and the password for any accounts that you logged into on that Chromecast using installed apps.
