Adding a second home member is not possible

I have been trying to add a second home member to the Google Nest.  I have sent requests from the other account and tried to send invites to that account.  When I click on the View Request link in the e-mail I end up at the home page for Google Home and cannot find any request to approve.  There is no Inbox as is indicated in the instructions.

Before we move forward, I need some information to provide you with the most accurate steps:

  • When you mention "Google Nest," are you referring to the Google Home app or the Nest app?
  • Where are you located? 
  • What is the domain of the email address you are trying to add? (e.g., @gmail.com, @outlook.com, etc.)
  • Is the email account you are using to send the invite set up as an Administrator?
