I've used Assistant to open and close my garage for years. It's connected to NEXX garage system. Recently, it has started asking for a PIN. I didn't realize I needed one, so found where to set it up but Assistant says it doesn't recognize the PIN. Now I can't manage the garage device.
I've seen other posts for this issue, but no resolutions found. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Do you use a Custom action to do this? If so, try creating two actions and putting them directly after each other:
1) Open the garage door
2) 1234 (PIN code - only put the numbers)
This works for my front door.

That's a great suggestion, but Google doesn't accept my PIN, which was the point of my question. Once I figure out that part, I'll configure into a custom action.

I see. "Don't recognize the PIN" is a bit ambiguous - I previously had the issue that when giving the PIN to the Assistant, either by writing or by voice input, it would just "forget" that it had asked me for a PIN, and then show me search results for my PIN code 🙄 and *this* I solved like mentioned above.
Are you getting the exact error "Wrong PIN"? If so, I had that issue (too) with my Nuki door lock (unfortunately I'm not familiar with your NEXX garage opener), and turned out the PIN I could set in the Nuki App was not the same as the PIN that Google Assistant asked for. The latter I apparently set when I linked the two applications and had completely forgotten about.
Not sure if your issue could be something similar - just throwing it out there. If nothing else, at least it serves as a bump to your thread.
