Someone else posted this last November, and I didn’t see a solution.
I have installed a brand new smart outlet in my home (bn-link).
Both individual slots can have it's own name and even be controlled separately through the BN-Link app, but Google Home only recognizes the one name, labels one “plug” and the other “switch” and activating either option applies to the whole outlet and either turns them both off or on.
I want them to be controlled separately by Google, both app and by voice command through Nest.
Any help?

Hi RevBoose,
Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. What phone are you using (Android or iOS)? What is the Google Home app version installed? Try to relink it and observe if it will make a difference. Using another phone might also help to isolate this.
Keep me posted.

Juni

We both have iOS phones.
Version for Google Home is 2.67.106
Removing and relinking has not worked, and we have no other phones to try it with. My wife’s phone *may* be a 13, with me a 14, but the iOS would still be the same. Still, I may try with her phone tomorrow.

Still working.

Hey there RevBoose,
It would narrow things down if you could try using an Android phone if available. If not, tt would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot:
By the way, have you tried your wife's phone? How was it?
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks,
Dan

I wanted to follow up and see if you are still in need of any help. Have you had the chance to try the suggestion above? If yes, how is it?
Kind regards,
