The battery is dead.

dont charge and said battery issue contact google help

I can't tell whether you have a battery doorbell or a battery camera, but you can contact Support using the link and instructions in this post:

Hi all,

 

@XavierPP, I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the Nest device. I wanted to check if you still needed help. Were you able to contact our support team as suggested by MplsCustomer above? If yes, how was it?

 

If you haven’t done so already, to completely isolate the hardware issue, let´s factory reset the device. Follow the steps below:

 

  1. Save any video history on the device, if any. Follow this guide.
  2. Unmount the device and then connect it to the USB cable and power adapter, if applicable.
  3. Reset the device to factory settings.
  4. Remove and add the device back to the Google Home/Nest app.
  5. Observe the device to see if the issue persists.
