We have 2 doorbell cameras, 2 cameras and can’t get both to connect, they have been in the past.
created a new “home” account and moved some of the other devices (outdoor cameras) but because it wants to connect to an assisting device it won’t work.
I know there’s been a lot of issues with this, has anyone figured out the work around?
we can connect them individually so we know it’s not the doorbells.

Hello Tarrabyte1616,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing all the steps you’ve tried to fix the issue. I’d be happy to help you with Nest cameras and doorbells. Let’s check it out.
An assisting Nest product is a device that is already added to your account in the Nest app, e.g. Nest thermostats, Nest Protect, etc. The Nest device tries to get Wi-Fi information from the assisting device during the setup. The Nest app should show an image of the assisting Nest product.
Before troubleshooting, check for the recommended Wi-Fi router settings for Nest products. Then, please try the steps below:
Let me know how it goes.
Best,
Lance

Hi Lance,
We have tried all of the options mentioned above. We have had to create 4 separate home structures in order to use/connect all the devices which is really frustrating since we can't see all the cameras in one screen. This only recently happened, so I assume a new software update occurred and we are unable to connect the devices without issues as in the past. Tara
