Can’t see or delete Routine

I have two old automations that do not show up in my Routines so I cannot delete them. They still go off in my house and show up in My Activity. How do I get rid of them? This is very irritating as they conflict with the daily routine that I currently have scheduled so in the morning between 815 and 820 I have three different alarms that go off and I only need the one.

Are you now using the Early Access version of the Google Home app?

To view the old version of your Automations go to your profile picture > Home Settings > Google Assistant > Routines.

Note: you'll see your automations switched around with  Personal Routines first with activated then deactivated.

I am not using that version. This has been going on for months but I’m just now sick of it and reaching out.

I have this same issue. I last modified the time of an announcement I use to get my daughter off the bus. The time updated but it now announces twice back to back. Annoying so I went in to change it and the automation isn't showing anywhere.

• It's not an issue with personal vs household routines
• It's not just in the early preview app, problem exists in the old as well
• Routine is also not showing on the web interface
• When I talk to Gemini, it can SEE the announcement 
• I cannot directly edit it using voice.
• Tried clearing cache on app, ect
• Tried telling google to "sync my devices"

Yes this is exactly my issues. I'm at the point of moving to a different system just to get them to stop. It's infuriating.

• How did you originally try to remove the routine? (For example, did you delete it from the app, or just remove the trigger phrase?)
• When you attempted to delete it, did you see any error messages or warnings?
• When the unwanted routine runs, does it complete all of its original actions, or only some of them?
• Is this routine still running on all of your speakers, or is it limited to just one or two specific devices?

I went to look on the app for the routine to delete it and it was not anywhere on the app. I am able to see newly created routines/automations/broadcasts. I have tried multiple times to verbally delete it and have gone as far as verbally asking it to delete ALL broadcasts, routines, automations, etc, to no avail. It will delete the new broadcasts but not the old (invisible) ones. There is only one action, broadcast, and it completes it. It plays on all devices. Thanks for trying to help.

The full automation is just at a certain time, make an announcement.

I used this automation all last year, deactivated it during summer, turned it back on this year and changed the time to align with the current bus schedule. The bus was coming even earlier, so  I updated the time again, that seemed to complete without issue however, the automation started announcing twice back to back. When I went to look for the automation and see if I could remedy... it was gone.

It completes all actions, back to back. Which is just announcement at a certain time. I have it running on all speakers in common areas, I believe I maybe left 1 google mini out (my sons room) but it does announce on the rest.

Thanks for providing that information! To help with this, could you please provide a screenshot of your Activity feature? This is just to confirm if the routine ran even after it was deleted.

Please follow these steps:

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Tap Activity.
3. Find any "Routine started" events. The entry should include the time the routine ran, the name of the routine, and what caused it to start.

If you aren't able to attach the screenshot directly in your reply, don't worry. You can upload it to Google Drive and share the link here instead. Please just remember to set the sharing permissions to "Anyone with the link" can view so I can access it.

The issue is there is no routine in my history that started between 3:50 and 4pm. It happens every day at 3:54 and plays twice back to back on every device in the group.

here you go. The only “real” routine is the Emme 5th grade bus alarm. The other ones at 8:15 and 820 just go off and cannot be deleted in any way that I have found yet.
