Cleaning lady gets cold when we're "away". How to go about it?

I mostly use home/away with presence sensing for my thermostat.
So when my wife and I leave, we want my thermostat to set to the "eco" temperature setting EXCEPT the day the cleaning lady comes.
Is there a way to tell the thermostat to ignore "home/away" for a specific day?

I welcome suggestions. Thanks,

Hey there,

I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. I found an article with more details on the Home/Away feature. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

Best regards,
Jake

Hi Jake,
I received no response yet. Do you have any suggestions?
Currently, I enabled the thermostat for presence sensing so I told her to wave at the thermostat in order to wake it up. When she wakes up the thermostat the home status turns from away to home.
The problem is that after a period of time (not sure how long yet), the home status turns back to away.

Any suggestions on that or a better way to go about it?

Thanks,

Hi folks,

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Thanks for assisting, Jake.

@Mart1n, I'm sorry for the delay. Your thermostat at home switched to Home status automatically as it detected a presence and will automatically switch back to Away status when it's not detecting any movements nearby. If your thermostat's Home and Away settings are enabled, it will prioritize your phone's location regardless of whether someone is at home.

I'd suggest manually adjusting it to Home status on the Nest app or adjusting the Eco temperature. Feel free to let us know if you have more questions in mind.

Regards,

Mark
