Connecting Nest Mini with Chromecast for my Projector

Hi there,

I have a Chromecast which I have connected to my projector. The sound quality isn’t great so I did some research to see which speakers (if any) could pair with a Chromecast).
I read that only google speakers can pair with Chromecast so I purchased a Nest Mini. 
I have connected them both to my google home and tried multiple times to pair them and they won’t successfully pair.

Bluetooth is active. They are on the same wifi network. I have even set them up in a group.. but everytime I try to get them to pair it tries and gives me the same response that it couldn’t pair and to try again in a bit.

Thanks for reaching out. You can’t use Nest speakers and display them as an audio output for your TV with Chromecast.
