Dutch words that after years of using are not working any more

The words "raamzijde" and "deurzijde" are not working any more.

After "raam" of "deur" Google stop taking the rest of that word.

Sometimes it becomes like "raam Zijde" what is not working.

It sat to see that the word recondition is getting worse.

 

raamzijde = window-side

deurzijde = door-side

Label Web Browser is not real

Thanks for reaching out. What Nest speaker or display are we working with? Check if your Google Assistant recognized your command. See the steps below:

 

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. At the top right, tap your account.
  3. Tap My Activity .

Lately the hole layout of the Google Home app is changed here in the Netherlands.

The Tap My activity, I cant find that any more.

Even Google Assistant have the same problem with "raamzijde" and give only "raam".

All my Google speakers does this.

Check Google Assistant activity history

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2.  Settings Settings Privacy Home Activity.

Every time you see "raam" that had to be "raamzijde". So even for "deurzijde".

It was OK for years.

They are normal words in Dutch.

Hello there,

 

Got it. What Nest speakers do you own? Are you getting the same response when you use your phone’s Google Assistant? Let’s try to refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Nest speakers.

Speakers: 1 Nest, 1 Home, 1 Home Mini, 2 Nest mini's

Google Assistant on my mobile phone react the same.

When I switch the Wi-Fi of my mobile phone off then it's still wrong.

Only "raam" is showing instead of "raamzijde" and "deur zijde" for "deurzijde"on the line.

The mobile phone and Nest Speaker shows what they recognised.

 

Reboot my Wi-Fi router is tricky for other things that I have. That need some planning.

Last night there was a power cut so my mode/router have that reset.
The Nest Hub speaker rested but it's still the same problem.

Also synonymy words to replace them gives the same kind outcome.
Like "raamkant" is OK but "deur kant" not.
Why that space?

side = zijde = kant

"tuinkant" and "straatkant" are OK but not logical.

tuin = carden,  straat = street.

Hey there,

 

Thanks for the details you’ve shared. Try the factory reset; this erases all your personalized settings and restores the factory default settings. It won’t automatically reconnect to WI-Fi, and you’ll need to set it up again. Check out the article below to know more about it.

From my last post:
"The Nest Hub speaker rested but it's still the same problem."
That was a factory reset.

On 1 november I get an other internet provider with a different router.
 Wi-Fi will then changing so all the Google stuff have to get a factory reset.

From is sending now.
My new internet provider had some line issues.

Instead of 1 november it became 6 november.
That's why testing take a longer time.

It's sad that my problem is not taking serious by Google.
Even that email contact is putting me of.
Have to go back to the 'normal' procedures true the app. That is for me very difficult.
More and more I found-out that the Dutch language recognition getting worse.
Number "15" is not recognised in "15 %" for light dimming.
I SEE it on my NEST HUB that it NOT reacting on Ducht words
Every time I ask my self what is NOW NOT working any more.
Bedroom-light in the morning/evening?

On my age is speech just imported. Why would I have so many speakers in my home.
And it has working good. Why all those 'new fancy things' what the good old ones are damaged?
