Okay Google, I know this is been mentioned before But why can't you allow facial recognition to trigger a routine. I would like the lights to turn on at my door before I have to go inside and give a voice command, and I certainly don't want to be ringing the doorbell to activate anything with my hands full of groceries disturbing my neighbour, just A metre across from me. I live in a dark entryway. It would be perfect to trigger the lights for me. Google already provides a notification on facial recognition for known faces or unknown faces so technically you can run a script For automation.

I'm looking for the same possibility! In my case I would like my doorbell to say something to the or a specific recognized person. Hope this will be possible in the future 💪
