Failed chromecast connection to wifi

Connecting chromecast device to google home works, however upon connecting to the wifi network it seems to “fail”? I have also turned local network on as suggested.

Hey! Double-check the Wi-Fi password and make sure you’re on a 2.4GHz network (if your router has both). Try restarting your router and Chromecast

• Has your Chromecast been connected to your network before, or is this the first time setting it up?
• How far is your Chromecast from your router?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far?
• Please share a picture of the error you're getting.

Please let me know the answers to these questions, and also if you've tried the previous suggestions shared, and whether or not they worked.
