This blows my mind personally. Currently I have my OnePlus 9 and my Google Nest Mini connected together to where both devices have the same account connected. Google is updated to 14 on my phone.
Ive just factory reset my device and set it up again twice, to no avail as the two devices will still act separately.
When I ask Google to turn room lights on, the nest turns them on, while assistant says I need to get them set up in Assistant settings? Why's that? Both the lights and the speaker are linked to my account so I already have free range of turning them on and off manually.
Is it my phone model? And if I have to reset my WiFi again, why should I go through the hassle again?

Hi folks,
Thanks for reaching out and providing detailed information on your issue and the steps that you've taken—these are of great help! Do you have Google app installed on your phone? If so, make sure this is updated too. Do you have multiple accounts added to your phone? If so, try to remove other accounts and just use the one that you are using in the Google Home app and observe if it will make a difference.
Check out this link for more information.
