Google Customer support is non-existent. Next step is to report them to BBB. My Google Nest is defective. Had a technician to confirm. Made a warranty claim but it goes into a black hole. Nobody ever calls back. It has been three weeks. Last Google product I will ever purchase. Probably means I have to drop ADT also.

Please note that the replacement thermostat also had a defective humidity sensor. Appears the sensor does not work in this model. Google should do a recall.

I had to look this up to see if it’s a common issue or not, and seems I’m not the only one. So much back and forth, repetitive forms, I’m pretty confident I gave my mailing address 3 separate times in 3 different ways, email, Google forms, email again. Such an extreme waste of time for both Google nest support and myself to get a replacement nest for a faulty one. The people I spoke with in the chat were great but why does the process for something well under $1000 it have to be so complicated? It’s been 3 months to get the replacement, I sent my device back as instructed, well within the timeframe and was still charged $280 for “not returning device”. On the website it even says it has been received??? Now another battle begins to get a refund.

I have been trying for over a month to get in touch with google nest about have my doorbell as well as all my camera recording. No luck. Horrible. I want change out all of my camera. Go with with another company.
