I am writing this review to express my disappointment with Nest/Google. I received an email from Nest with a promotional offer of a free indoor Nest camera if you pay in full for a Nest aware subscription. After paying, I was informed that I would get an email about the offer. After not receiving any email, I called customer service, and they had no record of this offer. Then they said the offer was for Nest Aware Plus. I then found the email stating that it was incorrect. I submitted the email for review and was told I wasn't eligible because I had Nest Aware previously and the offer was for new customers. This company sends emails to previous customers so they can pay in full for a subscription instead of monthly so you can't cancel. And it offers a free camera if you pay for the service. They are deceptive and dishonest. I will never purchase another product from this company. They intentionally do this to get more revenue, which is unacceptable.

I have reviewed the screenshots that you shared of the promotional email that was sent to you. According to the terms and conditions, users should not be existing Nest Aware subscribers nor enrolled in a Nest free trial at the time of receiving this promotion.
We recognize the frustration that can arise from waiting for a highly anticipated product, and we genuinely appreciate your patience. After double checking with our resources, we regret to inform you that our records indicate that you already had an active Nest Aware subscription from July 2020 to July 2023. As an existing Nest Aware subscriber, you were not eligible to receive a promotional email regarding the redemption of free Nest cameras.
Once again, I deeply apologize for any frustration or inconvenience that may have caused. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our customer support team, and we will be more than happy to assist you.
