Google Home App Ambient mode unable to find photo albums

My Ambient mode no longer finds my photo albums in Google Photo app. 
It worked up until a week or so ago. 
It now returns the error message: No Albums Found. 
any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out. I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should, let’s get this resolved!
 

Make sure your Google Home app is using the same account that you've used on your Google Photos app.

Give these steps a try:

• Turn off curation for your private and shared albums.
• Change the Personal photo curation setting to Live albums only.
• Try deleting all the albums that you've created and create a new one.
• Uninstall and reinstall your Google Home and Google Photos app.
