Google Home Automations - No longer automatically executing

For the past 18 hours or so none of my automations are triggering automatically.
I rely on the automations to keep my office warm (I have guinea pigs in there) and its an annex separate from the house.

None of the automations are actually triggering in the execution logs unless i load the google home app and they fire automatically then.... but i cant be opening my app every 30 mins overnight.

Automation 1:
If the temperature drops below 15c and the heater is off... then it turns the heater on and sends me a notification.

Automation 2:
If the temperature is above 16c and the heater is on.... then it turns the heater off and sends me a notification.

Its been working perfectly fine for the past 2 months, nothing had changed my side  code-wise.
Any help would be great.
Thank you in advance.

(all apps involved are up-to date)

Edit to add:
I have not upgraded to Gemini. I also tried automating it via the normal drag and drop WYSIWYG google automation wizard but that still doesn't trigger the automations.

I have checked for the latest update of the apps involve which are

  • Google Home
  • Smart life (for an external temperature sensor)
  • MP SmartEnergy (the manufacturer app for the heater)

I have also turned off and on the Heater physically and unlinked/relinked it to all apps involved where necessary.
I have also noticed that the automatic execution log is logging very few activations where it checks the automations... maybe one a hour at maximum.  So I guess that's an improvement although it is not reliable.

Final Update: It’s solved

Everything magically sprang back to life between 2 and 3 am this morning so I’m sure the issue lied somewhere in between the apps. It could have been an issue with the MP smart energy app that is the manufacturer of the heater as those auto triggers failed there too. However that is speculation.

Sadly I have had issues on and off since the “upgrade” to Gemini. Before that everything worked exactly how I wanted it. Now things work one day but not the next, work in one room,  it the other, work for me, not my wife…..

I have not yet upgraded to Gemini. I heard a lot of stories about it effecting the Automations in a bad way so I stayed away from it for the Google Home.

Thank you for sharing and I hope Google fixes this.

I haven't done the upgrade either but all of my automation stopped as well.  Mine are all on my phone, triggered by Hey Google starters.  So no 3rd party app breakdown.  Maps, Calendars, etc all worked great in automation before, but last couple of months not at all.

You can't use the MP SmartEnergy app  instead/simultaneously with Google Home to carry out the temperature adjustments?

Nope that stopped auto-firing as well.
good news though. Everything magically sprang back to life between 2 and 3 am this morning so I’m sure the issue lied somewhere in between the apps.
