Google Nest Home

Hello, I am unable to connect to my WiFi in order to set up my Google Nest Home. Can anyone offer any guidance? TYIA

Hey Cristy,

 

Thanks for reaching out — let me help you connecting your Nest device to your network.

 

A few questions:

 

  • What Google Nest device you're trying to set up?
  • Are you getting any message in your device or on your Google Home app when connecting it to your network?
  • Is this the first time you're setting it up? If not, were there any recent changes on your network?

Give these steps a try:

 

  1. Make sure your devices are within 15-20 feet of your router.
  2. If you're using an iOS device, make sure Local Network Access is turned on for the Google Home app.
  3. Toggle the Wi-Fi off and on from the set up device.
  4. Reboot your phone, Nest speaker and router to refresh the connection.
