Hi, I have 4 services linked to Google Home, Lifx, Lutron, Smart Home and Broadlink IHC. All of the devices have worked very well for a while. Now, when trying to add a smart socket to Smart Home, when I say "Hey Google, Sync Devices", I get "Ok Syncing devices for 5 providers, sorry something went syncing google wifi". Im confused in that I only have 4 providers. Why is Google Wifi a 5th provider and why is it always failing?

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.
I understand that this can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

Hey there,
I have heard from our engineering team and it looks like it is a confirmed bug that they are working on. Unfortunately, I don't have an ETA on when this will be fixed however.
The good news, is that they are aware of it and working on the issue though.
I appreciate your patience.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

Services linked are Hue, Sonos, Tado, SmartThings (Samsung TV) and Google.
Generally it is about adding or changing hue lights. I do this in the hue app. Just adding or changing them there.
They show up in GHA but not assigned to the right room, which is where ”sync my devices” comes in. But When I try “Sync My devices” or “Sync my lights” it responds “Ok, I’ll sync devices for 5 providers and then “There is an error syncing the Google wifi” and nothing is synced.

Hi @Martijn,
Thanks for answering the questions for us. For you and @jeffclyne, do ya'll have Google Wifi set up in your home? The team is trying to decipher where the root of the issues is.
@Gears, are you receiving the same error message or are you getting a different message? If it's different, what exactly are you hearing?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

I'm glad to hear that things are starting to shape up and resolve itself now. It appears that there have been updates that are being rolled out which are fixing the issue.

I am not getting the errors anymore, but when I sync my devices or lights it is not syncing hue rooms or lights. A whole new room with lights just doesn't show up at all. Not the room, not the lights. They are configured properly in the Hue app.

Hey there,
Sorry to hear that you're having that issue now. You may need to delete the current household that your devices are in, and create a new one, and link those to that new household if an entire room is not showing up.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

Hi just to let you know I have not sure how but the problem that I had has now resolved it’s self.
I was in the process of replacing the light switch with one that works on smart life which didn’t fit so put the ewelink back in only to find it reset it’s self (strange).
The only conclusion I have is that powering down the light switch may have done the trick?
thanks for your help and input
