Google Wi-Fi

My internet is coming to my home through a fiber cable which is connected to my ONT (HUAWEI EchoLife HG8121H), then I have a LAN cable going from the ONT to a 16 port TP-Link switch which is connected to 16 wall outlets around the home. My question is: can I buy 3 Google Wi-Fi points and connect each one of them via a LAN cable to a wall outlet connected to the switch in different rooms so they can act as access points? If yes, can they all have the same name to work as a bridge, does this require a special setup?

Hi ahmedkmuhammad,

Thanks for reaching out. The Google Wifi works as a system so you would need to use one Google Wifi point as a router. You could click on this link to learn more about this.

Thanks,

Edward
