Google nest audio not responding

Google nest 2nd gen indoor camera (wired)

we are subscribed to google nest plus and recently started having an issue hearing the audio recording when going back into our history to view an event. Why is this happening and how can this be fixed? My volume is turned up to the max in settings and the audio is enabled. I have no problems hearing live recording but cant hear audio in history recording. Please help

Oh no! Sorry to hear if you're having an issue with your Nest Cam Indoor. Is this your first time having this issue? Did you make any changes before it started happening? Check out this link for additional help.

Hi, 

 

This is my first time having this issue. I havent changed anything in the settings. The speaker is set to on and audio volume to max. 

whats weird is that i hear it when its live,  or some events in the past that are recorded but some i dont. About half the time i am not able to hear the audio recording for some reason. I have no clue what to do. I followed the steps in the troubleshooting link but it still hasnt resolved the issue.

Hey Anthonyjohn7,

 

Let's try to restart your camera to refresh the connection. If that doesn't work, try to reset it to its default settings. Here's the link on how to do it. Also, if you want to save any video footage before you perform the factory reset, create video clips or timelapses and download the files to your phone or computer. Keep us posted.

Sorry for the late response, i will try the factory reset tomorrow after work. Thank you for baring with me. I really appreciate it.
