Hallucinating Nest App

I have a nest app controlling the heating of my  home which I'm away from at the moment.

The nest app seems to be unable to stop the boiler coming on and heating the rooms to 20 degrees. If I turn off the heating on the app it shows the heating is off but the temperature doesn't fall over a few days.

If I just turn the temperature down after a few days the heating re sets to on and despite the app showing the heating is off.

This is a new problem and the system has worked well for 2 years.

How to fix of I'm not at home ?

Thanks for reaching out in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay and for the trouble this may have caused you. I'd like to know more about it. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? In what country are you located? Checking your thermostat's Energy History will tell you what your thermostat was doing previously. 

Also, please try reinstalling your Nest app and check if there will be any changes.
