I can't connect my govee lights to the home app

I can't connect my govee led strips to my google home app. The lights work perfectly on govee home, yet when i come to connect them to the google home app, it says the account has been linked succesfully but the lights never show up on my devices tab, please help.

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that when you add your Govee lights, they do not appear in the Google Home app. I'm happy to assist you!

I have a question: When you tried to re-add the lights, did you encounter any errors or receive any error code messages?
