I m at work trying to turn of my lights away from home nd everything on my Google home app disappe.

I just bought today a Google nest I set it up and Everything was working. I came to work now I was trying to turn on the lights because on the box it said CONTROL AWAY FROM HOM. So I go to Google home app and I don't see any of my devices or camera. What just happened?
