Over the past 4 ot 5 years since I have installed my Hunter Douglas Powerview shades I have had an intermittent issue with Google voice commands dropping connection with the Powerview app. When this happens and I address my Google Hub Max instead of the voice acknowledging the command and executing it, the voice responds with "Sorry, Powerview Scenes in not available right now".
When I run into this issue I try various attempts to resolve it including rebooting my Xfinity gateway, rebooting the Powerview hub, deleting and reinstalling the Google Home app, deleting and reinstlling the Powerview app, rebooting my iPhone, etc. etc. Nothing ever seems to resolve this problem.
I of course had called both Hunter Douglas and Google for assistance but to no avail. No reliable resolution is advanced and each company places the issue in the other company's domain.
Eventually, without any intervension on my part within a few days the voice command return to working as before. I have to believe there is some intervension on either Hunter Douglas or Google's end which rectifies the issue.
Has anyone else had this problem arise? If so have you identified the issue that breaks the integration between the Powerview app and Google Home? Any thought much appreciated.
