Is Google going to provide a web browser for the google Home App?

I have 9 old Nest cameras and 1 new camera but Google do not provide a web interface for me to view all cameras on my laptop. When are Google going to provide a web browser for the app?

Google is currently working on that according to THIS blog.

"In a few weeks we’ll also be rolling out a new camera experience on Google Home for the web that lets you view all your Nest camera and doorbell feeds. On home.google.com you’ll be able to easily check in on live views in full screen, zoom in to see more details, view camera status, and more all from your web browser."

Hi RXShorty, thanks for the link. Are you able to confirm that this will include old generation Nest cameras as well as I need to be able to see my old and new cameras on one screen?

I am afraid I don't have any insights on that. 🙄
But I think they won't be added to the website, but let's hope I am wrong about that.

If they don't include our older Google Nest cameras, then the statement of theirs that you just quoted is false:

My fear is that Google use the term "all Nest" loosely and may not include the old generation Nest cameras. Also important to get history which is not available now for these old cameras on the Google Home app.

Still waiting to find out if:-

• Google Home App will be available on web browser for all Nest old generation and Google Nest new generation cameras
• Google Home App will show history for all Nest old generation and Google Nest new generation cameras

The "Public Preview" version of https://home.google.com, with web browser access to all old and new Google Nest cameras and doorbells, became available yesterday, supposedly to everyone.  The current version shows only the current live views of our cameras.

Seems Google Home Web does not work on Microsoft Edge. But message does not tell you it's not available on that particular browser.

I've opened it in Chrome and can see all my old and new cameras.

Just waiting for the history to be added now but it's progress!
