Don't judge me. My Dropcam has been dutifully working for too many years to count. That is until I upgraded my home network. Dropcam still works, but the legacy install instructions no longer work. Tried to Google it and found out that I should have turned it in for a free replacement in 2015! Yikes. Was I abducted by aliens again or just missed the electronic memo?
I tried scanning the tiny barcode. Nope. Then I tried the USB cable PC to camera. Did I say "PC"? O.K. yes, I'm an old guy.
So how do I get a brand new spanking free Nest/Google Dropcam that will also last 10+ years or until I keel over?

Hi there,
Thanks for bringing up the concern you're having. If your device is out of warranty, I am afraid Google will not replace it. You are welcome to reach out to support to see what options you might have with them.
Best regards,
Brad
