Makeover needed for Google Home app to Google nest wifi

As mentioned, Makeover is needed for Google Home app towards Google nest wifi.

Overall easy, fast tapping to do what you want to achieve on the app, but it fails to do more important things that need manually settings, troubleshooting.
For most people it is probably good as it is.

For a little more advanced persons that needs that extra management there should be an advanced settings option for this or just add below features.
Some things to consider for a makeover in the future:

1a, able to “Prioritize host” always. (Gaming, ping, latency, bandwidth). Not only up to 8H…

1b, “QoS” profile for gaming as well. only meeting has a checkbox now for teams, zoom etc. Besides I believe gaming needs it more often in homes than “meeting” traffic. Maybe even have a list on game servers to prioritize towards such as Call of Duty etc.

2, able to “lock host to access point” if your in the middle of 3 access points incl. router that should be the best choice for less congestion etc. (need to see RSSI to confirm thou)

3, able to se RSSI on connected devices on different access points. Not only good, poor very good etc.

4, detailed connectivity information between access point (mesh), when setting up and moving access points so that you can get the best available quality wifi service in the house. (For example RSSI -dBm)

5, Speedtest on host doesn't do speedtests on hosts. It does a speedtest from router with cable towards internet. Isn’t doing what it says. Remove function if it can’t be done or fix it. Would be good when troubleshooting thou.

6, IoT network ssid/wifi available for IoT devices. That usually has poor network security (hardly getting updates to those anyway…) available to connect to IoT network of course from standard ssid/wifi.

That’s it for now. Please don’t hesitate to answer.

btw, thanks for the obvious thing with network ports on the never google nest pro units! Although you removed the obvious need for speaker & mic for google assistant and music.

“please don’t stop the music…” now I can’t upgrade to pro!

Why remove something that finally works fine!?

Please do something regarding above 1-6.

Great detailed feedback on the Google Home app totally agree that advanced settings for gaming and connectivity would help a lot. Some of these changes would make troubleshooting and optimization much easier. Hoping Google considers these improvements soon. Meanwhile, I’ve been enjoying some downtime on 777ad while waiting for updates

I’ve been exploring different platforms where you can discover and play games without spending hours searching through random lists. Recently I came across this site and what stood out to me was how clean and intuitive everything feels. It’s easy to browse categories, see what’s trending, and jump straight into something new. I also appreciate when a site doesn’t overload you with unnecessary clutter or confusing menus. So far, the experience has been smooth and straightforward. If anyone else here has tried it, I’d be interested to hear what games you found worth checking out there.
