I have just had a third gen Nest Thermostat installed on the wall replacing an old one.
I have now purchased a stand, lead and base plate so I can move it to a shelve, which I would prefer.
The only issue is when I remove the thermostat from the wall it will leave wires there that were connected to the unit, how can I safely remove these cables so I can fill the hole they are in?
