My Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) has stopped displaying videos

Activity screen used to show videos under a timestamp of person/people walking by.  Now message in Activity screen reads "No events are found.  You can adjust your filters to see more events."  Are filters "Devices" "Events" "Date"?  I tried playing with those but nothing helps.  I am not technical.  Can I go to Staples where I bought this to get technical support?  Do you have a physical store/outlet to support people like me.  Otherwise, I may need to cancel my subscription to Google Nest Doorbell and find a camera option that requires no support from me.  Sorry.

Hi Rose23,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that you can't see the video history in the Google Home app because it shows an error message: "No events are found. You can adjust your filters to see more events." Help is here!

Regarding your questions, there isn't a physical store, but it would be great if someone else can help you out with the steps that I shared.

To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:

  • Does this happen with other Nest cameras?
  • When did the inconvenience start?

In the meantime, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

  • Adjust the filters:
    1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
    2. Navigate to the message that reads "No events are found. You can adjust your filters to see more events."
    3. Go to "Devices" at the top left corner.
    4. Select Google Nest Doorbell (Battery), then tap Next.
    5. Also, go to Events, select all events, then tap Done.
  • Remove the Google Home app, then install it back.

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Rusell.
