Nest Connect won’t pair/connect to phone

I just got a new Yale Door Lock and a Nest Connect that came with it in the packaging. In the instructions it told me to set up the nest connect first since the door lock would need it later. I connected it no problem. It took about 1-2 minutes. I then proceed to set up the door lock on my front door while leaving the connect plugged in. When I was finished I wanted to set up the door lock and it said that my Nest Connect was not set up. I go back to it had to delete off my account uninstall reinstall, didn’t work. Then I tried the regular reset, the reset that says prevent the Factory Reset by pressing the button befor the Yellow light finishes. It gave me a green light so I go to plug in try again nothing. I try that about 5 times, nothing changes still won’t connect and shows NA023. Keep in mind I haven’t moved to a new location in my house as it is pretty small. I go to try to do a Factory Reset letting go through all the way. Doing this now makes the blue light pulse but very slow and won’t do anything else. I can no longer hold for the green light it just goes straight to Yellow as if I’m doing another Factory Reset. It is steady not connecting and I have no idea what to do at this point. It won’t connect and Factory Resetting again doesn’t change anything to the Nest Connect. Can someone explain what I need to do because I have read all the instructions and possible solutions but they don’t give anything for this type of problem.
