I actually spoke to a few customer service agents. The first agent I was hung up on, So i called back. The second agent was not helpful, I would like to believe that when you have a billing issue, and a closed g-mail account that name, last 4 of CC, e-mail link, verify through you tube would be sufficient. I recently went through, where my personal data was compromised, CC was changed. So to my surprise I get a 58.60 charge not even 12 hours after.
The associated g-mail account for the cameras was closed...evidently for some strange reason as long as they are getting money the info is gone, cannot validate who you are.
After getting the run-around to validate who i am,I was prompted by the customer service agent to download a 3rd party app for camera control......Google, that has the ability to access everything on a computer, phones, their data, authenticate through you tube, google search, is prompting me to download an app for camera access, for A BILLING ISSUE! Because for some reason they can take your money but is a problem to provide an explaination, or get resolution.
And then i get a call back and a voicemail to tell me the help center to authenticate........Beware, tech can be great but when a company owns your info even you cannot get answers, Nest IP cams are the worst thing on the market.
Customer Service is subpar, don't have an understanding of product. Finding any useful info in help center is subpar.
Looks like back to the CC to dispute since google is unable to help, provided any explanations
