Need help ASAP. I just moved to a new apartment that had a non working thermostat. I noticed too that the unit was always running later to realize that it does have a dehumidifier unit attached.
Original wiring I encounter was: C, O, R, G, Y & W2 (white cable) with a jumper cable to E.
Nest Recommended: Y1, G, OB, W1, C & RH.
For some reason, the thermostat works perfectly for 1-2 days. After that, even after being set up to Cool to 69 I wake up to the HVAC blowing hot air and the house on 82. Restarting works for 1-2 days and it goes back to hot air. I have turned OFF every single automation on the setting so I could do everything manually and it still does not work. Today woke up again to hot air. Changed the equipment setting from O to B, and then back from B to O and it started working again. Is there something wrong with my wiring ? This is driving me crazy, love nest, but might have to return it.
