Okay, we've used the Nest thermostat for years, but haven't done the migration to Google.
Now, we have a PW problem and the instruction is to use the app for a password change, But, the app (iPhone) doesn't even have the ACCOUNT portion that the instructions point us to.
Time to migrate, I thought.... but the migrate instructions also point us to the non-existent Account part of the app, so that's a dead end.
Changing PW on the old, probably dead, nest website does not produce a reset email even though the website says it was sent.
So, what's the next step? Do I need to factory reset the thermostat and start fresh from my Google account? I'd hate to thinker with that right now, it's too cold outside.
