I am super close to replacing my Nest and I hope someone can help! I have owned 2 Nests since 2019. In the early days, I tried to set a schedule for them, but gave up on it because my temperature requirements are too erratic. Since 2021
- I have turned off Auto-schedule.
- I have deleted the existing schedule, multiple times.
Somehow a schedule keeps coming back! The other day, I was sitting here w/ the windows open enjoying a nice, coolish LI summer day. Suddenly, I feel a cool, dry draft from the vent that happens to be right above me. I walk down the hall to the thermostat and, sure enough, it has a schedule in it -- set to 76 degrees every single hour of the day. Who would even do that? I confirm that Auto-scheduling is off and then delete the bogus schedule.
Is there some setting I can use that says, never, ever, ever create a schedule, no matter what?
