I have a cooper and hunter thermostat for my ducted heat pump.

I checked for compatibility but there’s no wiring diagram or labels.

has anyone ran into this before?

If you are facing compatibility issues or difficulty finding a wiring diagram or labels for your Cooper and Hunter thermostat, it would be best to reach out to the manufacturer or their customer support for assistance. They should be able to provide you with the necessary information and guidance regarding the wiring and compatibility of their thermostat with your specific ducted heat pump system.

It is not uncommon for different thermostat models to have different wiring requirements or compatibility specifications. Therefore, it is important to consult the manufacturer or refer to the product documentation to ensure proper installation and functionality.

Additionally, you may also consider consulting a professional HVAC technician or electrician who has experience with thermostat installations. They can help you identify the correct wiring connections and ensure that your thermostat is compatible with your ducted heat pump system.

Hello DangerCat,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

Your thermostat's wiring setup won't be compatible with the Nest Thermostats. But there are some cases where a system can be Nest-compatible, but a re-wiring may be needed in order to get the thermostat's standard label. I'd suggest contacting an HVAC technician to check its compatibility.

Feel free to let us know if you have more questions.

I appreciate you input here, @menit6.

Regards,
Mark
