Nest Thermostat

I purchased a Google Nest Learning thermostat when remodeling my condo about 2.5 -3 years ago .   It was easy to setup, but a pain to keep the cold air blowing as long as you needed it or have it turn the heat on when you needed it to without having to wait 30 mins for it to start.  A lot of manually changing the fan setting on for 30 minutes so when the thermostat would okay the fan it would start just as t would be turning off from the manual setting.  Now, the thermostat won’t power on.  I went through all the online troubleshooting steps, charged it via a usb for 5 hours.  The warranty is only good for 2 years and is basically money down the drain.  Yes, I even called their support, they were reading the same online support pages I had already seen and tried.  I should have kept my old thermostat, it had a digital screen, two buttons and a switch.  I bet it still works and had a better warranty on it.  Seriously, I can get a 5 year warranty on a computer or cell phone and those two things are not securely attached to a wall immobile.  Thank you google, I always wanted to get a google pixel or more expensive of your product and based on how poorly your product lasted and how much it frustrated me to constantly trying to make it work better …. I won’t be buying any other product you make.
