Hi @Piekje

Thanks for reaching out and providing detailed information. I understand that you're running into some issues when you try to connect your Nest camera to your WiFi connection and you receive an error message that there is a problem in scanning the wifi network on your device. I'm here to help you find a solution together.

To assist you with the best solution, I would like to get a bit more information:

  • What model of Nest camera do you have?
  • How far is the camera from the router?
  • Do you have other Nest devices in the house?
  • Are there other devices connected to the same WiFi where the camera is connected?
  • Can the camera find other Wi-Fi networks?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the camera?
  • What Wi-Fi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
  • Were there any recent changes to your environment, such as a change in Wi-Fi network or relocation of the device?
  • What’s the color of the LED status light?

Please keep me posted.

Sincerely,

Jeremy.

Hi jeremy,

i have the google nest cam on batteries, iphone and a zyxel modem router. We tried i think everthing. Shut down the wifi accespoints, put router onlu on 2,4 ghz, make more changes in the setup.
Reset on the cam. The ligt on the cam turns to blue, make connection to the same network but it will not connect properly..
we didnt solved the problem. So we went to another home, only renamed the network overthere the same as at my place, and made connections in the google home app.
Back home, the cams are working now.
